This session will feature “Wolf Children (Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki)”, the acclaimed animated film directed by Mamoru Hosoda. The story follows Hana, a young woman who falls in love with a man hiding an extraordinary secret: he is the last werewolf. After his sudden passing, Hana must raise their two children, Ame and Yuki, who inherit a dual nature—both human and wolf. Moving from the city to the countryside, the film portrays motherhood, growing up, and the search for identity with warmth, tenderness, and emotional depth.
The screening will be in Japanese with Spanish subtitles (VOSE).
An invitation to enjoy cinema through a different lens—ideal for Japan enthusiasts and for anyone discovering it for the first time, in a friendly, engaging format designed for general audiences.
